When selecting a photographer for aerial photography, you’ll want to make sure they are certified to do so. This certification ensures that the pilot will conduct the flight safely AND your will not be liable for images obtained illegally. If you look at the drone itself, it should have two numbers listed on it. One is the certificate number of the pilot, and the other is the registration for the actual drone itself. It pays to go with a legitimate remote pilot – there are a ton of airspace restrictions and weather conditions to keep track of.
